Mile Hi Con 57 Free Day Membership
Colorado’s longest-running science fiction convention—MileHiCon—and the Denver Area Science Fiction Association (DASFA) fan club are partnering in an outreach to local teachers and librarians as well as to local youth who might be interested in attending MileHiCon but find the cost challenging or simply are unfamiliar with the event and have never considered going.
MileHiCon is a literary-oriented convention, but also has programming oriented towards comic and graphic novel readers, anime and superhero movie lovers, horror fans, artists, those interested in science and tech, a masquerade/ cosplay contest, gaming and more.
Interested applicants—either youth, librarians or teachers who would like to find out ways to incorporate this popular genre into their classrooms and network with local authors—are eligible to receive a free one-day membership (Friday, Saturday or Sunday—their choice) to MileHiCon 57, which will be held October 31-November 2, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center, 13200 East 14th Place in Aurora, Colorado.
There will be an introductory meetup on Saturday morning, November 1st, at the convention. Recipients are encouraged to attend for an orientation to MileHiCon and a chance to meet each other and some other attendees in a smaller group environment. We currently plan to schedule a roundtable on using science fiction, fantasy and horror in the classroom, and a chance to talk about recent books, on Saturday afternoon.

While we have a limited number of day memberships, we hope to provide them to most applicants. Applications must be received by September 19, 2025.

● Which day would you want to attend?
● Are you a student who would need a second day membership so a parent or adult can attend with you?
